Terry Parker, President
Biography
Prior to serving as the Executive Director of the BTA, Terry was the Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Building Trades Council for twelve years.Terry worked as a glazier and before becoming the ED for SBTC, he worked as a Business Agent for the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades. His extensive time in leadership roles has given him a wealth of experience in the unionized construction and maintenance industries.
Terry is a graduate of the University of Manitoba where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
His dedication to the labour movement and to the safety and welfare of the unionized workers he represents is evident in the actions he takes and the decisions he makes every day.


Delanee Daviau, Foundation Coordinator
Biography
Delanee Daviau received her Redseal Endorsement in Welding in 2013, the same year she became a Member of Ironworkers Local 720. In 2015, the Local’s Executive Board appointed Delanee to represent the Local on a Provincial Building Trades Committee, Build Together – Women of the Alberta Building Trades, which she now chairs.
Most recently, Delanee was appointed by the Provincial Minister of Advanced Education to sit on the Alberta Board of Apprenticeship and Industry Training. She also won one of two National ACTIMS, Women in Trades Bursaries, as an Ironworker Apprentice recognizing her involvement in the Unionized construction industry.
Delanee now serves as coordinator for the BTA Charitable Foundation, a role she takes great pride in. Delanee is proud to promote the work BTA Affiliate Members do not only to build this province but also to donate and give back to their communities.
