The Building Trades of Alberta Charitable Foundation is happy to introduce the “Building Trades of Alberta, Team Alberta, Olympic Floor Hockey Team”. Through the support of our affiliated unions and through our on-site raffles we are able to send 16 floor hockey athletes from Special Olympics to their upcoming Winter Games in Newfoundland in March.

Alberta will be sending a total of 66 athletes from various sports including Floor Hockey, Alpine Skiing, Cross Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Snowshoeing, Speed Skating. Athletes hail from towns all across Alberta including Calgary, Canmore, Cochrane, Edmonton, Onoway, Strathmore, Drumheller, Airdrie & St. Albert. Team Alberta athletes range from 15 – 54 years of age.
